OLYMPIC PRELIMINARY BASKETBALL VENUE at MOREHOUSE COLLEGE

ERM was selected to perform construction services for the Atlantic Committee for the Olympic Games. This project was separated into three phases. Phase I consisted of the construction of 6,000 seat arena and support facilities located on the campus of Morehouse College .

Phase II included Pre-Olympic modifications and construction, including temporary gravel walks and drives, landscaping, modifications to Archer Hall, Kilgore Student Center, Robert Hall Annex and Forbes Hall.

Phase III of this project consisted of Post-Olympic modifications and construction including removal of temporary modifications to Archer Hall, Kilgore Student Center, Robert Hall Annex, and Forbes Hall; removal of temporary walks and drives; removal of temporary site utilities; post-use modifications of the field of play to NCCA Basketball requirements and finally to demolish Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games temporary interior construction and install post-use interior construction.

GEORGIA STATE UNIVERSITY

The 105,000 square foot Student Center for Georgia State University is located in downtown Atlanta . The project includes an auditorium, banquet facilities, food services, offices, and student activity spaces.
