The roof consist barrel vaulted rolled metal panels and modified bitumen flat roofs. The interior walls of the building are a combination of concrete block and damage resistant gypsum board with a class five drywall finish.
The classroom and administrative floors are covered vinyl composition tile and carpeting, while the bathroom and kitchen area have patterned ceramic tile and quarry tile respectively. At the entrance/rotunda area the VCT is arranged to form a compass oriented to true north which points to the four corners of the world.
The building also features a full service kitchen, 4 pipe fully automated HVAC system with energy management/recovery systems and up to date fiber optic data and telecommunication systems as well as a fully integrated security system real time video capability. The school also has a maple-floored gymnasium and stages as well as a full size running track complete with high jump, pole vault, shot put and soccer/football goals, a volley ball/tennis court and a regulation softball field.
