CHAMBLEE MARTA STATION
ERM was selected to provide excavation services that were required to prepare the site for construction of the Chamblee Train Station. During the fill process subsurface drainage and geo textile materials were installed to allow for proper drainage. The work also required the backfill of twelve (12) retaining walls. A critical feature of the project was a 100% compaction requirement. This maximum compaction was required for the last 3 feet of fill for the trackway embankment.
